Anna's House and Early Head Start of Harford County, programs of Catholic Charities, are initiating a new collaborative relationship in the areas of fundraising and volunteer outreach in Harford County. This new partnership is designed to allow Anna's House and Early Head Start to deliver services more effectively and efficiently to families living in poverty.

Proceeds from the 2014 annual Anna's House Breakfast, which will be held in early April, will support both Anna's House and Early Head Start of Harford County.

For all other functions, Anna's House and Early Head Start of Harford County will continue to operate independently.

Both Anna's House and Early Head Start of Harford County provide critical services to at-risk children and their families, services that promote a lifetime of improved outcomes.

"Catholic Charities has a long history of serving families in need in Harford County through our many programs," said Bill McCarthy, Executive Director of Catholic Charities. "By more closely integrating the development efforts of Anna's House and Early Head Start, we'll be able to deliver these services even more efficiently in the future."

Anna's House offers transitional and permanent housing, and an array of other critical services, for homeless women and their children in Harford County. Early Head Start in Harford County provides child and family development programs, preparing children aged 3 and under from low-income families for kindergarten and offering educational opportunities for their parents.
