Two Forest Hill teenagers were arrested after one allegedly pulled a knife on a girl near the Forest Hill leg of the Ma & Pa Trail last Friday, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.
At about 6:11 p.m. on Sept. 11, a 16-year-old boy reported being upset that a girl was supposedly following and bothering him, including waiting for him while he was in a portable toilet, Sheriff's Office spokesman Edward Hopkins said.
"He became angry and upset and pulled a knife on her, threatening her," Hopkins said.
The incident allegedly happened on or near the trail in the area of Mardic Drive, Hopkins said.
Deputies found the 16-year-old was found with another youth behind a home in the 2000 block of Mardic Drive.
He was charged as a juvenile with assault and possessing a concealed weapon. The other boy, who is 15, was charged with possessing marijuana.
Both were released to the custody of their parents.
