Ten children and four adults were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in Belcamp Sunday night, although all had minor injuries, according to Harford County fire and EMS officials.The crash was reported at 8 p.m., according to Rich Gardiner, spokesperson for the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association.Four vehicles were involved at mile marker 79.9, just south of the interchange with Route 543, according to Cpl. Flaugher, of the Maryland State Police JFK Memorial Highway Barrack in Perryville.He said three southbound lanes of the highway were closed.The crash occurred in the Abingdon Fire Company's territory, and fire and EMS units from the Aberdeen Fire Department, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps, Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and Level Volunteer Fire Company assisted Abingdon, according to Gardiner.Nine ambulances were requested, although not all were used to transport patients to hospitals in the region.Joppa-Magnolia sent a passenger van, which is used to transport multiple patients who have minor injuries, according to company spokesperson Andy Doyle. Several people were placed in the van, according to Gardiner."Those that didn't were relocated to vacant stations," Gardiner wrote in a text message.This story will be updated.
