Two men have been charged and police are searching for a third in connection with a home invasion Jan. 9 in Edgewood.
Police are looking for Jabreel Avion Samuels, 23, of Edgewood. He and two others – Anthony Tyrone Powell, 20, of the 800 block of Fisherman Lane in Edgewood, and Davonte Marquis Perry, 20, of the 500 block of Doefield Court in Abingdon – allegedly knocked on the door of an apartment in the 500 block of Crownwood Court around 4 p.m. Jan. 9, asking for "Francis," according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
When the woman who lived there said there was no one there by that name, the three men, who police said were all armed with handguns, allegedly forced their way into the home.
The men allegedly demanded money, threatened the woman and forced her upstairs, according to the Sheriff's Office. While they were allegedly going through her things upstairs, her friend entered the apartment and the three men ran out.
Powell and Perry are charged with home invasion, fourth-degree burglary, use of a handgun in a violent crime, attempted theft less than $1,000, two counts each of armed robbery and robbery and three counts each of first- and second-degree assault. They are being held at the Harford County Detention Center on $150,000 bail each.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Samuels. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office criminal investigation division at 410-836-5442.
