Two men, one with machete, hold up Pylesville High's store

Police in Harford County are seeking two men in connection with a second convenience store robbery in which one of the robbers was armed with a machete.

The latest robbery was on Jan. 4 at the High's store in Pylesville. A similar robbery occurred five days earlier at a 7-Eleven in Jarrettsville on Dec. 30.

"Early investigation of the two crimes indicates the two may be related," Cristie Kahler, spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff's Office, which is investigating both crimes, said Thursday.

In the High's robbery, deputies were called to the store in the 4800 block of Rocks Road in Pylesville at 8:45 a.m. on Jan. 4 for a reported armed robbery.

Deputies determined that two armed men entered the store and robbed it of an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a Sheriff's Office flier. The men drove away along Route 165, south toward Jarrettsville, in a white foreign car.

The first robber is described as a white man, 18 to 25 years old, who was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt and a white face mask. He was armed with a knife.

The second robber is described as a slightly taller white man, 18 to 25 years old, who was wearing a red hooded sweat shirt and a white face mask. He was armed with the machete.

In the Jarrettsville 7-Eleven robbery on Dec. 30, two while men robbed the store in the 1700 block of Jarrettsville Road at 2:35 a.m. One robber carried a machete, the other was not armed, according to previous information from the Sheriff's Office. The pair fled north on Route 165 toward Pylesville with an undisclosed amount of money, the Sheriff's Office said.
