The Harford County Department Public Works has announced two upcoming road closures in the Jarrettsville and Monkton areas, the latter which will be of some duration.
Knopp Road, between Rocks Chrome Hill Road and Rush Road, near Jarrettsville, is expected to be closed on our about Wednesday, April 22, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to remove trees near the intersection of Knopp Road and Rocks Chrome Hill Road.
The closure is expected to be in effect for three days, and motorists are asked to make other arrangements if they travel on this roadway, according to a DPW advisory.

The county also announced the planned closing of Hess Road, between Route 146 and Old York Board in Baltimore County in the Monkton area, on or about May 4, for approximately five months for bridge rehabilitation.
Detours will be in place and motorists again are asked to make other arrangements if they travel on this roadway.
