Four people were taken to Baltimore area hospitals Saturday night following a head-on car crash in Street, police said.
The accident happened at 8:55 p.m. in the 3700 block of Grier Nursery Road, according to DFC Jim Schultz, of the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
Christopher Belcastro, 23, of Forest Hill, was driving a Subaru Outback, according to Kyle Andersen, spokesman for the sheriff's office, and failed to keep right of the center line.
The Subaru hit a Chevrolet S10 pickup truck driven by Donald Burchett, 53, of Jarrettsville.
Burchett was flown to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. The two passengers in his car, Laura Motherwell, 49, and Kaylee Motherwell, 22, both of Jarrettsville, were also flown to shock trauma.
Belcastro was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview in Baltimore, Schultz said.
Burchett was in serious condition and Laura Motherwell was in fair condition Tuesday afternoon; Kaylee Motherwell had beendischarged, according to Karen Warmkessel at shock trauma.
Deputies are investigating the cause of the crash.
The three people in the pickup were pinned and had to be extricated by firefighters.
