Bel Air had five players shoot 46 or lower Wednesday at Mountain Branch Golf Course, enabling the Bobcats (217) to beat host Fallston, 220, and Perryville, 230.
Tyler Newton, seeing his first match action since winning the District VII title, shot 40 to lead Bel Air. Kevin Morrissey shot 42, while the other Bel Air scores were Cody Smith, 44; Matt McGee, 45; and Connor Small, 46.
Fallston was led by Zach Billings and Dylan Wolf, both of whom shot 38. The Cougars other scores were Tommy St. Clair, 46; Dayton Ogrysko, 48; and Josh Sacker, 50.
The day's low round belonged to Perryville's Tyler Pollitt, who fired an one-over par round of 37. The Panthers other players were Kyle Ciaccia, 42; Jake Eldreth, 48; Eli Orzechowski, 55; and Robbie James, 55.
Huskies get win
The Patterson Mill Huskies golf team putted its way to a tri-match victory Tuesday at Maryland Golf and Country Clubs in Bel Air.
The Huskies shot 239 to beat C. Milton Wright, 245, and North East, 288.
Brendan Mahoney shot a match-low round of 42 to pace the Huskies, while Samantha Barnett and Luke Sharretts each shot 46. Alec Michaels shot 52 and Shawn Powers rounded out the Huskies scoring with a 53.
CMW was led by Carter Poulsen's 45. Ethan Hauer, a freshman making his debut, fired a 48 and Bruce Hoffman added a 49. Shawn Wiersbowski shot 50 and Mike Stefanides closed with 53.
Jake Watson shot 51 to lead North East, whose Derek Bolton shot 53. Other Indians scores were Ryan Barrow, 57; Cameron Kruk, 59; and Jon Hamilton, 68.
