Girls soccer action was light Monday night, but teams from Bel Air and Joppatowne each found the win column.
Bel Air's win came over visiting Severn, 3-0, in non-league play. The Bobcats (10-1-2) led 2-0 at the half.
Kayla Klock scored twice in the win, while Jaimie Layfield added one goal. Layfield, Carolyn Doheny and Mackenzie Wills had assists.
Bel Air goalie Andrea Sipos recorded three saves.
Mariners stun Warriors
Joppatowne (1-9-1) scored less than four minutes into the game and made it stand for an 1-0 win over host Havre de Grace (2-8-1) on the Warriors' Senior Night.
Breanna Kazamias scored unassisted when she controlled the ball that dribbled off the goalie's foot on an errant punt attempt. Kazamias alertly shot the ball high and bounced it into the net before goalie Annelise Beer could recover.
Joppatowne goalie JulyAnn Marx made 13 saves. Beer finished with six saves for Havre de Grace.
Hawks blank Eagles
North Harford defeated visiting Bo Manor, 5-0, Thursday in a non-division girls soccer game. All of the scoring occurred in the first half.
Meghan O'Donnell scored twice, while Savanna Testerman, Cami Davis and Mikki Tillman also scored for the Hawks. Lindsay Young, Kaylee Holliger, Allison Beers and O'Donnell had assists.
Jordynn Hughes had one save for North Harford. Hannah Parker also had one save, subbing for Hughes. Emily Casasola had seven saves for Bo Manor.
