Patriots get win
John Carroll visited Notre Dame Prep for another IAAM A Conference battle Tuesday and came away with a hard-fought win, 1-0.
The match was as evenly played as expected with the statistics virtually tied in all categories, according to Patriots Head Coach Gary Lynch. The first time these two sides met, early in the season at John Carroll, the very physical match ended in a 0-0 overtime draw.
Senior Captain Sophie Centi scored the game's only goal, taking advantage of a handball penalty and putting away the free shot.
John Carroll goalie Katie Cooper recorded the shutout with six saves.
