The Bel Air girls lacrosse team kept itself atop the Chesapeake Division of the UCBAC Wednesday with a 17-5 win over host Edgewood.
Anna Farley scored four goals to lead the Bobcats (3-0 league, 6-1 overall), while Julia Henry and Jenna Signorelli netted three goals apiece. Lexi Strobel and Katy Higinbothom added two goals each, while single goals were scored by Bekah Riley, Sam Keesey and Emily McQuay.
Henry added three assists and Riley had two. Farley, Kami Holt and Katy Higinbothom also had assists.
Alyssa Rankin and Caitlin Rankin had two goals each for the Rams (1-3, 5-3) and Jordyn Carll scored one.
Bel Air goalies Sydney Matthews and Molly Loughlin both had seven saves, as did Edgewood keeper Darcy Baynes.
Cobras beat Warriors
In a non-division game, Harford Tech beat visiting Havre de Grace, 17-7.
Tori Arcilesi (assist) and Becca Williams led the Cobras (5-1) with four goals each. Courtney Poole and Sam Volz scored three goals each and Bethany Bishop contributed two goals and three assists. Amanda Weir also scored a goal.
Taylor Johnson pumped in four goals for the Warriors (4-1), while Tailor Diaz added two and Julie Hagis scored one.
Tech played two goalies, with Bryana Wyatt posting seven saves and Tori Grubowski making three.
Warriors goalie Lauren Butler had 10 saves.
Tech low defender Natalie Gorham was credited with a top defensive performance.
