North Harford beat Harford Tech, 44-37, Monday afternoon in the most recent girls basketball game played over the past several days.
The Hawks were led by Jodi Enfield's double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds. Claudia Deventi scored 11 points and Savannah Testerman had 10.
Patterson Mill lost in overtime to Poly and Harford Tech beat Havre de Grace in girls basketball Thursday night.
Patterson Mill was leading by nine with three minutes to go in regulation when Qalea Ismail, their star player, fouled out. Poly rallied, tied the game and won in overtime, 41-34.
With Ismail out, Patterson Mill couldn't handle Poly's pressure, according to Coach Holly Ismail, and didn't score another field goal in the game. Making matters worse, Patterson Mill dressed only six players because the others were all injured or sick. Ismail scored 20. Sam Barnett was next with six. Sam Herman scored five and Chyna Latimer scored three.
Harford Tech led Havre de Grace by four at the half and rolled in the second half to a 50-25 win. Tech led at the half, 25-21.
Jonna Maddox scored 20 for Tech. Brianna McAllister scored 12 points and had 14 rebounds. Breyana McWhite had 12 rebounds
