Taking part in the Baltimore Basketball Academy at Morgan State University, Patterson Mill rolled to a 51-40 over Poly in girls basketball Thursday. The Huskies improved to 9-3 with the win.
Qalea Ismail pumped in 22 points to lead all scorers and Khayla Mitchell added 17.
The Huskies (4-0 league) will host Aberdeen (11-1, 5-1) in a Monday matchup. The UCBAC Chesapeake Division game is set for 6:45 p.m.
The Eagles were also winners Thursday, hosting and beating Edgewood (2-7, 1-5), 56-29. Stats were not available.
Bobcats beat Cougars
Bel Air (5-8, 3-2) was a winner as well Thursday, beating host Fallston, 30-26.
Catia Johnson scored six points to lead the Bobcats, while Logan Gasior and Alisa Schmidt had six points each for the Cougars (6-7, 0-5). Bel Air led, 20-13, at the half.
Mustangs beat Hawks
C. Milton Wright (11-2, 3-2) defeated host North Harford (5-4, 1-3), 59-24, in Chesapeake play Thursday.
Blake Bukowski poured in 23 points to pace the Mustangs and Ayreka Browning chipped in with 13 points.
North Harford was led by Jodi Enfield's eight points.
Warriors beat Panthers
Havre de Grace (6-5, 3-3) traveled to Perryville and knocked off the rival Panthers (3-7, 2-4), 28-21, in Susquehanna action.
Samara White led the Warriors with 11 points and Essence Maye added eight points. Teri Wennersten scored seven points to lead Perryville.
Havre de Grace led, 7-5, at the half.
Patriots fall at home
John Carroll slipped to 4-9 after an 60-47 loss to visiting Spalding.
Ashley Hunter scored 18 points for the Patriots and Savannah Simmons added seven points.
Other Thursday scores
Harford Tech (7-3, 5-1) visited Rising Sun (10-2, 6-0) with the Susquehanna title lead on the line. The Cobras dropped the contest, 49-38.
Joppatowne (1-11, 1-5) lost to visiting Bo Manor (5-5, 2-3), 41-30.
