After running off nine wins to begin the season, the girls basketball team at C. Milton Wright ran into a snag.
The Mustangs, who dropped their first game at Patterson Mill last week, lost again Tuesday, 76-49, to visiting Aberdeen in UCBAC Chesapeake Division play.
The Eagles, who led 39-28 at half, were led by Stephanie Jones' 25 points, eight rebounds and five steals.
Kierra Palmer added 23 points and six assists. Nazje Norton chipped in with 12 points and four steals and Endia Jones had a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Emma Hahner led CMW with 16 points.
Huskies beat Bobcats
Patterson Mill continued to roll in Chesapeake play, defeating visiting Bel Air, 60-29, Tuesday.
Sam Herman poured in 22 points, including a team record five three-point baskets, while Qalea Ismail added 18 points.
Bel Air was led by Renie Tsomos and Oceana Murphy. Both scored seven points.
Cobras beat Elks
Harford Techpicked up a Susquehanna victory, winning big at Elkton, 55-35, Tuesday.
The Cobras led at halftime, 36-14.
Jonna Maddox led the winners with 21 points, while Breyana McWhite, 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Trinitee Grant, 10points and 10 rebounds, both recorded double-doubles. Brianna McAllisteradded five points,20 rebounds and five steals.
Cougars best Hawks
Fallston was also a winner in Chesapeake play Tuesday, edging visiting North Harford, 38-34.
Logan Gasior led Fallston with 24 points, while Savannah Testerman led North Harfordwith 14.
HCS beats North East
Harford Christian hosted North East Tuesday and won, 52-14.
Crystal Kline was the star, scoring 22 points, and Melissa Good added 11 points.
