Fallston, Harford Christian and Harford Tech were winners Friday night in girls basketball.
Harford Tech beat visiting Perryville, 37-27, in UCBAC Susquehanna Division action. The Cobras led at the half, 23-10.
Brianna McAllister led Tech with 16 points, nine rebounds and seven steals. Breyana McWhite added six points and 10 rebounds.
HCS wins big
Harford Christian moved its record to 9-2 after beating visiting Granite Baptist Church, 61-44.
Lily Loomis scored 21 points to lead the Eagles. Taylor Lavin added eight points.
Other Friday score
Fallston (6-5, 1-2) beat visiting Elkton, 50-36, in Chesapeake play.
Huskies knock off Mustangs
The C. Milton Wright girls basketball team rode into the Patterson Mill gym Thursday night, winners of nine straight games to start the season.
Patterson Mill, defending Class 1A state champion, stopped the Mustangs streak cold. The Huskies won the UCBAC Chesapeake Division game, 49-31.
The Huskies, despite the large winning margin, struggled offensively for much of the contest, especially from the free throw line. The Huskies were 7-for-24 at the stripe.
The Huskies (6-2, 2-0) led, 7-5, after one quarter and 15-8 at the half. The Huskies then scored more in each of final two quarters (16 and 17) then they did in all of the first half.
Qalea Ismail finally heated up a bit in that second half and finished with a game-high 16 points. Sam Barnett and Sam Herman scored 11 points each and Chyna Latimer added six points off the bench.
Emma Hahner made three, three-point shots and all five of her free throws to finish with 14 points for CMW (9-1, 1-1). Erin Triolo and Kiarra Nowell each had five points.
Eagles beat Hawks
Aberdeen (6-1, 1-1) picked up its first Chesapeake win Thursday, thumping host North Harford (3-5, 0-2), 72-14. The Eagles led at the half, 40-5.
Stephanie Jones scored 17 points to led the Eagles. Kierra Palmer added 12 points and Lisa Eller had 11.
Cobras beat Indians
Harford Tech (5-1, 3-0) stayed unbeaten in Susquehanna Division play, defeating visiting North East, 41-23, Thursday. The Cobras led, 14-11, at the half.
Jonna Maddox scored a game-high 17 points, while Brianna McAllister added 10 points, 14 rebounds and six steals.
Warriors beat Mariners
Havre de Grace (5-4, 1-2) won its second straight game this week, beating visiting Joppatowne (1-8, 1-1), 46-41.
The Warriors fell behind in the first quarter, 20-7, but rallied for the win. Taylor Smith led the Warriors with 17 points, while Addie Richardson and Samara White each scored 12.
Bobcats beat Rams
Bel Air (4-6) defeated visiting Edgewood (2-5), 40-33, Thursday.
Renie Tsomos scored nine for the winners and Edgewood's Bianca Tucker led all scorers with 13.
Edgewood led, 22-21, at the half.
Cougars best Eagles
Fallston (5-5) visited Harford Christian (8-2) and left with a 28-26 win. The Cougars outscored the Eagles, 13-5, in the middle quarters to aid the win. Lily Loomis scored eight for Harford Christian.
