Traffic and parking can make getting to Harford County Farm Fair a challenge, but there is a an alternative to getting to the fair that is better for the environment and for your health, according to the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail Foundation.Once again this year, the foundation is providing a secure bike corral so that fair goers can ride the Ma & Pa Trail to Farm Fair at the Equestrian Center.The corral will be staffed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 30 and 31. Volunteers will also have water, trail maps and brochures as well as T-shirts and car magnets.Fairgoers can start their ride at Williams Street in Bel Air, just 1.9 mile from the fair, or from Annie's Playground in Fallston, a 1.4-mile ride, and park their bikes at the bike corral, located near the main entrance to the fair."Riding your bike to the Farm Fair is a great way to enjoy the MA & PA Trail and get a workout on your way to enjoying all the great attractions at the fair," said Phil Hosmer, President of the MA & PA Heritage Trail Foundation. "We are providing a Bike Corral to safely and conveniently store people's bikes to encourage them to take the green way to get to Farm Fair."
