Homeless man charged in stabbing of another in Edgewood

One homeless man allegedly stabbed another and stole his wallet early Friday morning in Edgewood.

Deputies were called to the 100 block of Waterside Court in Edgewood around 12:44 a.m. Friday for a report of an assault. When they arrived, deputies discovered a 48-year-old man, who police said had no fixed arrest, with multiple stab wounds and an abrasion on his head. The man told deputies he was walking in a wooded area, near that block, when he was struck in the head and stabbed. The suspect then took his wallet.
