Belcamp gas station, two individuals in Edgewood robbed

A Belcamp gas station was robbed at gunpoint and two people were attacked and robbed in Edgewood last weekend, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.

On Saturday, deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery at a Sunoco gas station in the 1300 block of Riverside Parkway in Belcamp.

A clerk said that at 4:34 a.m., a man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to the Sheriff's report.

The clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on Riverside Parkway in the direction of Brass Mill Road.

The suspect is described as a short, black male who was wearing a black skullcap, a black hoodie, blue jeans, dark gloves and black-and-white sneakers.

A strong-arm robbery was also reported in Edgewood the same day.

At 9:39 p.m., deputies contacted a female who had been walking home in the area of the 1900 block of Eloise Lane.

When she crossed Brookside Drive toward Eloise Lane, the victim saw four males walking on the opposite side of the street.

Later, while walking near the main part of Eloise Lane, she believes two of the four males approached her. She was robbed of her wallet and cell phone.

The suspects fled in different directions in the Brookside Drive area.

One of the two suspects is described as a black male, 5 feet11 inches tall, with a medium build, wearing a camouflage jacket, a bright orange mask, sunglasses and a dark beanie. The other suspect was described as a black male, about 18 years old, average height and medium build, wearing a blue jean jacket, dark skinny-style jeans and some type of head gear.

On Sunday, deputies also responded to the area of Grempler Way and Brookside Drive in Edgewood regarding an assault with a gun at about 1:07 a.m.

A victim told police he had been struck in the head with an unknown object by suspects who stole his cell phone.

He had a laceration to the head and was taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air.
