The High's convenience store in Darlington was robbed at gunpoint late Friday night by four men.
Store employees told Harford County Sheriff's deputies that at about 11:15 p.m., four men – three black, one white and all wearing dark clothing – entered the store at Main Street and Route 1.
Two of the men had handguns and demanded money and cigarettes from the store clerks, who complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of each.
The men ran from the store toward Conowingo Road.
The robbery is under investigation, but a Sheriff's Office spokesperson said it does not appear to be connected to two recent convenience store robberies in northern Harford in which one of the robbers had a machete.
The sheriff's office is looking for anyone with information about this incident. Anonymous qualifying tips submitted to Metro Crime Stoppers leading to an arrest and indictment for these felony crimes may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
