Theodore Richards Akins, 28, of the 900 block of Harlan Avenue, was charged Thursday with marijuana possession.

Jennifer Giles, 26, of the 700 block of Cronin Drive, was arrested Thursday on a bench warrant in a case in which she was charged with theft less than $100.

Nicholas Whittington, 25, of the 200 block of Teake Lane, was arrested Thursday on a bench warrant in a case in which he is charged with two counts of drug possession other than marijuana.

Joshua Terral Mendes, 23, of the 1500 block of Perryman Road, was arrested Monday on a bench warrant for allegedly violating probation in a case in which she is guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol per se.

David Walters, 36, of the 400 block of Ashton Lane, was charged Friday with second-degree assault. Walters, who also had an address in the first block of Bright Oaks Drive in Bel Air, was also charged in separate incidents Friday with violating an ex parte order.

A wallet was stolen from a purse Thursday in the 400 block of Constant Friendship Boulevard.

Students were fighting on a school bus Thursday in the 3300 block of Abingdon Road.

A man with a knife was threatening children Friday in the 500 block of Eastview Terrace. The kids told Harford County Sheriff's deputies that a man wearing a mask jumped out of some bushes, with what they said was a knife, and yelled at them, according to the sheriff's office. They said it had happened before. Deputies searched the area, but couldn't find anything; patrols in the area have been increased, a spokesperson said.

A UPS package was stolen Friday from the 3700 block of Trail Wood Court.

A vehicle was broken into and items were stolen Saturday from the 1100 block of Letchworth Court.

A lawn mower battery was stolen Sunday from the 1700 block of Poole Road.

Justin Ray White, 31, of the 2600 block of Maidens Lane, who was being held at the Harford County Detention Center, was arrested Friday on a bench warrant in a case in which he was charged with trespassing and three counts of theft less than $300.

Bobby Lee Adams Jr., 51, of the 2800 block of Profitt Path, was arrested Sunday on a bench warrant in a case in which he is charged with displaying an expired registration plate, driving without current tags or registration plates, displaying and possessing a suspended license and two counts of driving while his license was suspended.

Andre W. Anderson, 34, of the 700 block of Rainbow Court, was charged Sunday with failure to display his license on demand and driving while his license was suspended and revoked.

Charles W. Johnson Jr., 22, of the 1000 block of Agate Drive, who also has an address in Trenton, N.J., was arrested Monday on a bench warrant in a case in which he is charged with driving a rental vehicle in violation of an agreement.

The Harford County Humane Society in the 2200 block of Connolly Road reported Thursday a dog was dumped at Annie's Playground because the owner didn't want to pay the surrender fee.

Ian Michael Campbell, 19, of the 2400 block of Rocks Road, was charged Saturday with drug possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

A business on Newport Drive was vandalized Thursday.
