Route 1 near the Conowingo Dam in northern Harford County was shut down during Monday's afternoon rush hour following a two-vehicle collision, Maryland State Police reported.
Two adults were transported to University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air with injuries that were not life-threatening, Trooper First Class Taylor, of the JFK Barrack in Perryville, said.
Two commercial vehicles were involved in the accident on the Harford County side of the dam, which was reported at 4:04 p.m., Taylor said.
The road was closed to all traffic in both directions for about two hours, police said.
