Harford County's sixth annual Restaurant Week is under way and will run through June 18.
During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants throughout the county offer special prix fixe (price fixed) menus consisting of three-course meals starting at $25.15, plus beverages, tax and tip. Limited service restaurants may offer other special values.
All Restaurant Week participants and their menu selections can be viewed at www.visitharford.com.
"Restaurant Week offers excellent variety and value," Wini Roche, interim executive director for Visit Harford!, said in a statement. "Whether you try primavera for a prix fixe meal paired with great wine or take home Pat's, who offers an amazing carry out pizza deal at three of their locations.
"We hope people will check out all of the menus of our participating restaurants and offers on our website to chart a course for their dining destinations," Roche said.
Visit Harford! coordinates Restaurant Week in partnership with local restaurants and eateries.
This spring, visitors have also been encouraged to explore the sweeter side of Harford County with what Visit Harford! calls Foodie Road Trips.
The Visit Harford website offers self-guided trails offering some of the best places in the county to enjoy strawberries and chocolate, Roche said.
"For dessert, check out the Everything Strawberries road trip for more than 25 ways to enjoy local strawberries - whether you pick them yourself at one of our family-friendly farms or savor them in homemade ice cream or a cupcake. Of course, chocolate is always in season," she said.
