Several fund-raising activities were held in Harford County this fall to aid the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of a Harford County girl who died earlier this year from leukemia.
Madison Summer Lynn-Corcoran-Narup, who was 3 1/2, died Feb. 27, just three days after being diagnosed with the disease, but much has been done in her memory since.
The parents, staff and children at The Goddard School in Forest Hill pulled together during the month of October to raise money in Madison's name for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The members of The Goddard School family joined Madison's Miracle Mission, named after and in honor of Madison, at Brooms Bloom Creamery, Flavor Cupcakery and also held a bake sale at the school's annual Fall Festival.
Children and parents at the school were also excited to purchase Hope Bears, knowing that 100 percent of the proceeds were directly donated toward this great cause. For more information or to donate, visit .
