The Harford County Child Advocacy Center is looking into instances of a student at C. Milton Wright High School taking inappropriate pictures of female students without their knowledge, the Harford Sheriff's Office said Thursday.
School administrators reported to the Sheriff's Office last Friday, the last day of school, that a 14-year-old male student admitted to taking "inappropriate photographs of four female students" at separate times, dating back to May, Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kyle Andersen said.
None of the four girls knew their pictures were being taken and they did not give their consent, Andersen said. All pictures were taken while the students were at school.
The parents of the girls declined to press charges against the male student.
"The sheriff's office could file charges, but would need a willing witness to testify," Anderson said.
The case remains under investigation by the CAC, he said.
