Any opponents of Chick-fil-A in the Harford County area seem to have stayed home Friday, which was designated National Same-Sex Kiss Day by gay rights proponents at the restaurant chain's sites nationwide.
The county's two Chick-fil-A restaurants had plenty of supporters Wednesday, for the equally unofficial Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, packing the Forest Hill and Abingdon locations throughout the day.
Both restaurants seemed typically busy, but devoid of any kissing or protest activity around lunchtime Friday.
The website Eat Mor Equality, which tried to mobilize different Chick-fil-A-related actions around the country, did not list any activities planned in Harford County.
The only protests or same-sex kisses expected in Maryland were at restaurants in Frederick and Waldorf.
