Chick-fil-A wants to open a third restaurant in Harford County, at Route 22 and Beards Hill Road in Aberdeen. That has yet to be approved by the city council, but did get a largely favorable review by the city's planning commission.
The record sales come in the midst of ongoing controversy after the company's president publicly opposed same-sex marriage.
