A 40-year-old Belcamp man has been charged with the shooting of a man on Carsins Run Road in Aberdeen Friday night during an argument.
Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 2100 block of Carsins Run Road shortly after 8 p.m. for a report of an assault involving a firearm, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
The deputies found a 27-year- man in front of the home, suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm, according to the Sheriff's Office. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim, a female and another male who all knew one another got in a fight at the home on Carsins Run Road. A gun was produced and the victim was shot, according to the news release.
Jason Harris, 40, of the 1200 block of Halls Chance Road in Belcamp, has been charged with second-degree assault. He was taken to Harford County Detention Center, where he was released on his own recognizance.
The female involved in the fight, whom police did not identify, suffered minor injuries and was taken to University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, where she was treated and released.
