In boys volleyball action played Thursday, Fallston defeated visiting Bel Air, 3-2, in an exciting Harford County league match.
The Cougars won game one, 25-17, games two and three were won by Bel Air, 25-19 and 25-21, respectively. Fallston then rebounded won games four and five, 25-20 and 17-15, respectively.
Connor Newcomb led the Cougars with 31 assists. Garrett Krug, Austin Hale and Matt Clafee had a combined 26 kills and Claffee and Ryan Constatine combined for 10 huge blocks.
