Recent history shows that a boys soccer game between Bel Air and C. Milton Wright usually ends in overtime, and that trend continued Tuesday night.
For the last two years, CMW has come away the winner, but Tuesday it was the visiting Bobcats who walked away with the win.
Grayson Harper's goal with 26 seconds left in the first overtime lifted the Bobcats past the Mustangs, 2-1, in a key UCBAC Chesapeake Division game.
The winning goal came off a throw-in from Jacob Vasquez, which was booted around a short time, before landing at the foot of Harper around the top of the 18-yard box. Harper sent the low shot on goal, which deflected off a CMW defender and away from goalie Ryan Miller.
"The ball was played over and Vince Rose bodied a kid off the ball," Harper said. "It just popped out to me and I hit it and it deflected off someone's foot and in."
Bel Air (2-1-1, 7-1-3) had taken a 1-0 lead late in the first half, when Noah Rusinko put a high shot past Miller off an assist from Vasquez.
The Mustangs (4-1, 6-3) turned up their intensity to start the second half and it didn't take long to even the score. Just 1:15 into the half, Steven Cantor fired a low shot past Bobcats keeper Jack Tracy, after taking a pass from Sean Fleming about 30 yards out.
Tracy finished with six saves for Bel Air and Miller had four saves for CMW.

North Harford goalie Jacob McKinney earned the win with 10 saves.

Alex Wardle, SeanMichael Lynn and Andrew Rehedul were credited with assists.
Aberdeen goalie Anthony Cuellar made six saves in the win and Rising Sun goalie Bryce Calhoun finished with seven saves.
Cobras edge Panthers

Perryville's Chris Hanley put the Panthers ahead in the 17th minute of the first half.
Tech tied the game two minutes later with Matt Doleschal scoring off an assist from Blake Melchior.
Micah Barton then put the Cobras in the win column one minute into the second overtime period. Brian Triolo assisted the golden goal.
Tech goalie Adam Bednarek made five saves and Panthers keeper Trevor Prevost had eight.
