John Carroll knocks off CMW 3-1 in boys soccer matchup

The John Carroll boys soccer squad took a come-from-behind victory Monday afternoon, with the host-team Patriots returning from one-goal deficit to beat the visiting C. Milton Wright Mustangs, 3-1.

CMW notched the game's first goal, but the Patriots came back with three answered tallies to seal a victory.

John Carroll's Camilo Fortunato scored twice and dished out one assist, while Guillermo Almirall netted one goal. Ryan Baldauf picked up one assist.

John Carroll goalie Brendan Hutton notched four saves.

Joppatowne tops Tome

The Joppatowne Mariners won a road matchup with Tome on Monday, beating the host-team Titans, 3-1.

The Mariners' first tally came on an unassisted goal from Todd Lewis.

Joppatowne came up with what would be the winning goal when Dale Marx scored with an assist from Thaliek Willis.

Joppatowne goalkeeper Austin Koscan had three saves.

Havre de Grace won a home-field matchup on Monday, beating the visiting Edgewood Rams, 2-0.

John Carroll over Aberdeen, Calvert Hall

The Patriots earned a 4-0 shutout win over visiting Aberdeen in a Saturday showdown.

Colby Fell and Camilo Fortunato scored two goals apiece for John Carroll.

John Carroll goalies Marc Griffin and Adam Mrowiec combined to hold Aberdeen scoreless.

John Carroll edged out visiting Calvert Hall on Friday, 2-1.

Ryan Baldauf and Fell each scored once in the victory.

The Patriots led, 2-0, until the final four minutes of the game, when Calvert Hall scored its lone goal.

Harford Christian wins shutout

The Harford Christian boys soccer side took its third straight shutout victory on Thursday, as the Eagles blanked host Elkton, 3-0.

Seth McCarty led the Eagle offense, scoring a pair of goals, while Paul Franco netted one goal.

Harford Christian goalie Phillip Good picked up five saves.
