Fallston stayed unbeaten in UCBAC Chesapeake Division boys lacrosse action Wednesday, beating host Patterson Mill, 15-2. The Cougars (3-0 league, 9-2 overall) led at the half, 13-0.
Matt Wollenweber's three goals led 10 Cougars in the scoring column. Dylan Wolf and Nick Esser added two goals apiece and single goals were scored by Kyle McKeever, Ryan Buckler, Ben Claffee, Joe Maranto, Justin Williams, Garrett Krug and Andy Stump.
McKeever and Stump also had two assists each while Krug, Esser and Wolf had single assists.
Rylee Borrink and Trey Hall had a goal each for the Huskies (0-3, 6-5).
Fallston played two goalies with Liam Wilcox making four saves and Matt Claffee making three.
Patterson Mill keeper Will DeVinney had 10 saves.
Bobcats beat Mustangs
In a Chesapeake game that was also a "Battle of Bel Air," visiting Bel Air beat C. Milton Wright, 13-8. The Bobcats held a 6-5 lead at the half.
Garrett Utz led the Bobcats (2-1, 7-3) with four goals and Tom Pfeiffer scored three. Austin Tredinnick (one assist) added two goals, while single goals were scored by Brad Casale, Kasey Davenport, Dave Lotz and Chase Oberlin.
Jacob Smucker, Cade Dail and Dominic Venanzi scored two goals each for the Mustangs (2-2, 8-4), while Ian Ziemski and Michael Logan added single goals.
Smucker, Grady DiPeso and Robert Elliott had assists for CMW.
Each goalie - Philip Venanzi for CMW and Gavin Hanley for Bel Air - made seven saves.
Cobras top Elks
Harford Tech (3-0, 6-4) remained perfect in Susquehanna play, after beating host Elkton, 5-2, Wednesday.
The Cobras defense was outstanding, limiting Elkton to just two goals.Goalie Chris Stallings recorded 23 saves and Trevor Crehan led the team with four takeaways.
Ethan Bulger, Justin Schappell and Justin Steen had two takeaways each.Brett Grube and Brandon Winand picked up two ground balls each.
Offensively, the Cobras were led by Griffin Pfarr and Nick Letts. Both scored two goals. Winand added one goal and Grube contributed two assists.
Eagles beat Eagles
Aberdeen (2-2, 2-6) won at Bo Manor, 7-6, in Susquehanna play.
Ethan Mauzy scored three goals to lead the Eagles, while Matt Merchant netted two goals. Billy Kilmon and Kyle Sampson each had single goals.
Devin Beatty, Duane Keller, Sampson and Merchant all had assists.
Aberdeen goalie Luke Whittie made 14 saves and Rocko Hillhouse won 9-of-17 face-offs.
Indians beat Hawks
North Harford (1-3, 7-4) lost at North East, 12-9, in Chesapeake play Wednesday.
Chandler Schmidt paced the Hawks scoring with four goals, while Glenn Doering netted three goals. Evan Siegel and Kyle Keating added a goal each.
Siegel added four assists and Schmidt had two.
Siegel also led with six ground balls and he won 9-of-14 face-offs. Goedeke won 6-of-10 face-offs.
Hawks goalie Cameron Brosh made eight saves.
Other score
In Wednesday Susquehanna play at Perryville, the Panthers beat visiting Edgewood (0-6, 1-6), 15-3.
Hawks beat Tigers
In Tuesday's lone boys lacrosse game, North Harford traveled to Rising Sun and returned home a 13-6 winner in non-division play.
Glenn Doering led the scoring with three goals, while Evan Siegel, Clayton Hood, Thomas Dolinar and Zach Stike scored two goals apiece. Kyle Keating and Steven Leese added one goal each.
Hood added four assists and Siegel had two. Dolinar and Mic Green also had assists.
Siegel led with seven ground balls and he also won 7-of-9 faceoffs. Stephen Goedeke was 7-for-10 in faceoffs won and JT Kidd was 1-for-1.
The Hawks played two goalies with Cameron Brosh making four saves and David Horoscha making three.
