Despite Monday's tornado watch, the Bel Air Bobcats and Towson Generals played their non-league boys lacrosse game. The game, originally scheduled for Towson, was played on the turf at Bel Air to get better field conditions.
The Bobcats (6-3) took advantage of the opportunity to play and beat the Generals, 18-8. Bel Air held an 11-6 lead at the half.
Garrett Utz scored four goals to pace the winners, while Brad Casale and Tom Pfeiffer added three goals each. Jack Lewis and Austin Tredinnick also had multiple goals with two each.
Bobcats goalie Gavin Hanley made nine saves.
Cobras, Panthers halted
In a key UCBAC Susquehanna Division match-up, host Harford Tech (2-0 league, 5-4 overall) and Perryville (4-0, 4-2) were tied at 7 in the second half when lightning stopped play. No date has been set for resumption.
Other Monday score
Also Monday, in Susquehanna play, host Edgewood (0-5, 1-5) was hammered by Rising Sun, 15-1.

Bobcats win big
Bel Air (5-3) had no trouble in an non-league game at Westtown, Pa., Saturday, winning 24-5. The Bobcats led 13-2 at half.
Brad Casale scored four goals to lead the Bobcats, while Tom Pfeiffer scored three.
The Bobcats played four goalies with Gavin Hanley and Chris Hagy each making three saves, while Tamar Reese and Evan Sordilla had one save each.
Friday action
UCBAC Chesapeake Division action took center stage Friday night with Fallston and North Harford each posting boys lacrosse victories.
Fallston (2-0 league, 8-2 overall) knocked off visiting C. Milton Wright (2-1, 8-3), 8-4, while North Harford (1-2, 6-3) defeated visiting Patterson Mill (0-2, 6-4), 10-7.
In Fallston's win, Nick Esser led the scoring with three goals, while single goals were scored by Dylan Wolf, Ben Claffee, Justin Williams, Matt Wollenweber and Andy Stump.
Wolf also had three assists and Esser had one.
CMW goals came from Cade Dail, Kenneth Watts, Nick Kramer and Kurt Leader. Brad Martin added an assist.
In the goal, Fallston keeper Liam Wilcox had 11 saves and for CMW, Phili Venanzi had seven saves.
Hawks beat Huskies
In North Harford's win, Evan Siegel scored three goals for the Hawks, while Kyle Keating and Clayton Hood scored two goals each. Chandler Schmidt, JT Kidd and Stephen Goedeke had single goals.
Schmidt added two assists, while Luke Cordell and Jack Schrof
Blake Tallon pumped in four goals to lead the Huskies, while single goals were scored by Luke Sharretts, Isaiah Welch and Rudy Beck. Noah Holloway added two assists.
Hawks goalie Cameron Brosh finished with seven saves and Huskies goalie Will DeVinney had nine.
Cobras beat Eagles
Harford Tech (2-0, 5-4) posted a Susquehanna Division win Friday as well, beating visiting Aberdeen (1-2, 1-6), 13-5.
The Cobras struck early and often to build up a 5-0 lead through one quarter. The Cobras were led offensively by Griffin Pfarr's three goals, three assists; Steven Mills, three goals, one assist; Marcos Ramos, two goals; Cole McGuirk, two goals; Nick Letts, one goal, one assist; Justin Steen, one goal; and John Paxton, one goal.
Steven Mills and Nick Letts controlled the face-offs for Tech, winning 13-of-15.
Trevor Crehan and Nick Letts had two takeaways each and Mills came up big with five ground balls.
Ethan Mauzy scored three goals for Aberdeen, while Kyle Sampson and Duane Keller scored one each.
Keller and Sampson also had assists and goalie Luke Whittie made 11 saves.
Tech goalies Chris Stallings (four saves) and Adam Smith (10 saves) repeatedly denied the Eagle attack.
Warriors beat Indians
Havre de Grace (2-1, 8-1) defeated visiting North East, 13-7, in Chesapeake play Thursday night.
The Warriors jumped out to an 4-0 first quarter lead, but North East made a run to close the gap to 6-5 at halftime. Havre de Grace then shut the Indians out, 5-0, in the third quarter, en route to the win.
Chris Parrott dominated in face-offs again for the Warriors, who, despite scoring 13 goals, had to overcome the play of North East goalie Alex Miller.
Casey Brown led the Warriors with five goals and two assists and Kyle Barkley added three goals and an assist. Nick Burley and Jordan Hawthorne each had two goals and one assist and Colin Dean had a goal and four assists.
Parrott and Brett Wilson had eight ground balls apiece, while Brown and Barkley had six ground balls each.
Warriors goalie Jake Laubner made six saves.
Other scores
In other games played Thursday, Joppatowne (2-2, 3-4) was beaten by visiting Perryville, 19-5, in Susquehanna play. In non-league play, Edgewood (1-3) won its first game, beating visiting Hammond, 9-8.
