HdG boys beat Aberdeen in easy lacrosse win

The Havre de Grace boys lacrosse team opened its season with a lopsided win Monday, visiting and beating Aberdeen, 17-1, in non-division action.

Colin Dean lit up the nets with seven goals, while assisting on two others. Kyle Barkley added three goals, while Casey Brownadded two goals and four assists and Nick Burley had two goals and three assists.

Trent Reynoldscelebrated a birthday with a goal andan assist, the first points of his varsity career. Chris Parrott dominated faceoffs and scored a single goal. Brett Wilson also scored a goal with assists going to Luke Smith, Joey Stone and Jordan Hawthorne. Havre de Grace had assists on 13 of its 17goals.

Warriors goalie Jacob Laubner had six saves.The defense of Wilson, Kevin Vickery, Sean Greeley, Salvatore Smith, Hugh McFarland and Jack Eberhardt did not allow a goal until the game's final seconds.
