The Havre de Grace boys lacrosse team continued to post wins Wednesday, visiting and beating Joppatowne, 14-9, in non-division play.
The Warriors (8-3) found themselves in a battle at half, tied at 6. Havre de Grace trailed, 8-7, after three quarters, but rallied to pull out the win.
Casey Brown had the hot hand for Havre de Grace, scoring four goals and dishing out five assists. Colin Dean added three goals and four assists, while Nick Burley and Kyle Barkley each finished with two goals and one assist.
Connor Haffey added a goal and assist and single goals were also scored by Chris Parrott and Spencer Blythe.
Brett Wilson had a team-best five ground balls, while Parrott and Dean had four ground balls each.
North Harford defeated host Harford Tech Wednesday, 13-9, in non-division action.
Clayton Hood and Chandler Schmidt scored three goals apiece to lead the Hawks (5-5). Ryan Feiss and Mic Green added two goals each, while Evan Siegel, Kyle Keating and Neal Johnson scored single goals.
Siegel, Feiss and Schmidt added two assists each and Johnson and Will Duley also had assists.
Tyler Fullem scored five goals to pace the Cobras (4-5). Griffin Pfarr, Steven Mills, James Butler and Brett Grube each scored once.
Fullem added two assists with other assists coming from Nate Haskell and Mills.
The game was stopped with 10:07 remaining in the fourth quarter because of a lightning storm. Both coaches and athletic directors agreed the game was completed and considered the score final, according to Huskies head coach and AD Jason Bellamy.
Freshman Drew Novad and senior Michael Dinatale scored two goals apiece to lead the winners. Chase Tallon scored the other Paterson Mill goal. Novad also added one assist; other assists were dished out by Brandon Fabiano, Rodney Duty and Sean Chenworth.
Patterson Mill goalie Will Urban was credited with 14 saves. Patterson Mill led 3-2 at the half.
Tigers top Eagles
Aberdeen wasn't as fortunate in its non-division game with visiting Rising Sun. The Tigers won, 11-8.
Keenan Villareal led the Eagles (5-4) with three goals, while Jon Jones added two goals and three assists.
Kyle Peters finished with a goal and three assists and single goals were scored by Ethan Mauzy and Matt Merchant.
Aberdeen goalie Luke Whittie made 18 saves.
Bel Air's game with visiting Catonsville was stopped in the second quarter by bad weather with the Bobcats (7-2) leading, 4-0. The game was to resume Thursday.
Patriots beat Friends
John Carroll (5-3) beat visiting Friends, 15-7, on Tuesday.
Carson Walton had four goals and two assists and John Perry had three goals. Bradley Hubbard added three assists.
