'Constant Friendship' historical marker incorporated in plans for Abingdon commercial development
A seven-acre site planned for a small retail center at Route 924 and Box Hill South Parkway in Abingdon has a historical marker explaining how the area was known as "Constant Friendship." Plans for the development, which will have a restaurant, car wash, auto repair shop and retail, were reviewed Wednesday by Harford County. (Maryland Historical Trust / Baltimore Sun)
