The popular outdoor summer movies series returns this week to Shamrock Park in Bel Air, where six family-friendly movies are scheduled throughout the summer, beginning Friday night, with the showing of the popular Pixar animated film, "Finding Nemo."
Six times a year the community comes together to watch the movies under the stars.
Bel Air Downtown Alliance's Outdoor Movies Series, sponsored by People's Bank, is the time and place to bring the family for a fun and free movie night at Shamrock Park with pre-movie entertainment provided by the Bel Air Cultural Arts Commission. Movies are not only free and family friendly (rated PG), they also come with free popcorn, sponsored by Harford Day School.
Families can start setting up at 6:30 p.m. in Shamrock Park, where the movies will be shown on a large screen set up on the band shell. Movies begin just after sunset.
