On Thursday Aug. 14, Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies were called around at 10 p.m. to the area of Byrnes Court in Bel Air for an assault, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The victim, a 16-year-old male, and his friend had been playing basketball at the YMCA in Abingdon. After leaving the Y, the friend drove the teen to the common parking lot on Byrnes Court, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release. The victim exited his friend's vehicle and was approached by three suspects, who assaulted him and threw him to the pavement.

A warrant was issued on Sept. 18 for Love. He was released from custody on $25,000 bond Wednesday, according to court records.
