7-Eleven on Route 40 in Abingdon robbed by man with knife

The 7-Eleven store in the 3900 block of Pulaski Highway in Abingdon was robbed Tuesday night by a man with a knife, police said.

No one was inured in the robbery, which was reported at 10:46 p.m., according to Cristie Kahler, a spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

The robber approached the clerk in the back of the store with a knife. He forced the clerk to open the register in the front of the store and hand over an undisclosed amount of cash, Kahler said.

The robber is described as a white man, 20 to 25 years old. He was wearing a brown sweatsuit. He ran out of the store in an unknown direction.
