The Harford County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who robbed the Aldi in Edgewood at gunpoint Thursday night.
The robber, who was wearing a surgical mask, entered the supermarket, in the 1300 block of Business Center Way, at 8:50 p.m., approached an employee and displayed a gun, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.
The robber forced two employees to the back of the store and demanded money. He fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money and a cell phone, according to the release.
No one was injured in the crime.
Deputies and K-9 units failed to find the suspect after canvassing the area.
The robber is described as a black man, about 6 feet 1 inch tall, between 39 and 51 years old. He was wearing blue jeans, the surgical mask, gloves, a gray coat and a baseball cap.
Aldi's store in Aberdeen was robbed at gunpoint in August.
Lt. Fred Budnick, spokesman for the Aberdeen Police Department, said no arrest has been made in that incident, in which police described the robber as a black man of medium build who was wearing a fake beard.
