Ace of Hearts Ride through Harford raises money for breast cancer research

The Chesapeake Harley Davidson lot in Darlington was filled with nearly 100 motorcycles Saturday afternoon as riders came together for the 2015 Ace of Hearts Ride to benefit people battling breast cancer.

The 53-mile police escorted loop kicked off at the dealership and took riders through the rolling hills of northern Harford County, ending back at the dealership and followed by an after party at the Union Hotel just across the Susquehanna River in Port Deposit.

This year's ride raised more than $2,500 to benefit The Red Devils of Maryland, a breast cancer organization that helps Maryland women and families dealing with the disease.

The annual Ace of Hearts began in 2005 with the goal to supply aid and money for breast cancer research.
