One man is charged and two others are facing charges in connection with a string of car break-ins between March 8 and 14 in several Abingdon communities, police said.
Aaron Cooper Starrs, 19, of the 500 block of East. South Street in Kennett Square, Pa., is charged in one case with two counts each of rogue and vagabond, theft less than $100, charging another person's credit card less than $1,000 and charging another person's credit card less than $100 and theft scheme less than $1,000. He is charged in another case with stealing someone's credit card, unlawfully receiving a credit card, attempting to charge another person's credit card less than $500, charging another person's credit card less than $1,000 and fraud by identity theft, according to online records.
Similar charges against a 21-year-old Bel Air man and a 22-year-old Bel Air man who have fled the area are pending, according to a press release from the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
The three suspects, whose surveillance photos were posted to the Internet, television and social media platforms, were identified through tips called in to the Harford County Crime Solvers. These suspects are believed responsible for a series of automobile break-ins in which they stole wallets, purses and credit cards and then fraudulently used the cards to make purchases, according to the release.

Detectives said that without those tips these crimes may have gone unsolved.
