An Aberdeen man sustained non-life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed in an altercation on Post Road early Sunday morning, city police said.
David Wallace, 33, was allegedly stabbed during a physical altercation with Jamal Dudley, 41, at about 2:19 a.m. in the first block of Post Road, according to an Aberdeen Police Department news release.
Wallace was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore.
Police said they don't believe the incident was a random attack and that the two men, who both live in Aberdeen, know each other.
The relationship between Wallace and Dudley, who are both Aberdeen residents, is not known, Aberdeen Police spokesperson Sgt. Will Reiber said.
The motive for the altercation also is unknown, said Reiber, who noted Wallace and Dudley were "not cooperating."
Both men are Aberdeen residents. The details of this investigation will be forwarded to the Harford County State's Attorney's Office for review prior to charges being filed.
