A 63-year-old man was taken to Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace after being injured in a hit-and-run accident in Aberdeen Monday evening, city police reported.

Investigators said Tuesday night the driver, whom they have not identified, remains at large.

The did, however, release a description of the suspected vehicle, a 2015 KIA Sorento that should be missing the right side outside mirror glass, housing and "skull cap."

According to an earlier statement by the Aberdeen Police Department, officers responded to the 700 block of West Bel Air Avenue, near Bush Chapel Road, at about 6:55 p.m. Monday, where they found the victim suffering from lacerations and abrasions to the head, feet and elbow.

A 24-year-old man, who police said was walking with two other people on the CSX railroad tracks in Aberdeen was struck by an oncoming train, police reported.

The man told police he was walking east along the shoulder of West Bel Air Avenue, when a vehicle traveled onto the shoulder and hit him.

Investigators found a sideview mirror and silver outer shell at the scene.
