Aberdeen police are looking for a man who forced his way into an Aberdeen home early Monday morning and assaulted a man inside.At about 1:10 a.m. Monday, Aberdeen police officers were called to the first block of Lewis Drive for a report of a home invasion, according to a news release from Sgt. Will Reiber of the Aberdeen Police Department.Arriving officers quickly found a man, 34, who told them a tall black man forcibly entered his home and assaulted him, Reiber said.The attack was thwarted when the victim was able to push the suspect from the residence. The suspect then fled the scene in a red Ford Ranger being driven by a white woman with blonde hair. Responding officers were unable to find the suspect vehicle.The victim was taken by Aberdeen Fire Department ambulance to Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace for treatment of the injuries he sustained during the altercation.Police have no motive in the home invasion, Reiber said.Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Detective Alexander at the Aberdeen Police Department, 410-272-2121.
