Aberdeen seeks volunteers for city boards and commissions

The Aegis

From the latest edition of the City of Aberdeen’s e-newsletter:

Hey Aberdeen! We need your help with identifying interested, highly qualified volunteers for the City’s various boards.

There are nine city appointed, volunteer comprised boards in our community. They include Appearance and Preservation, Heritage Trust, Parks and Recreation, Architectural Review, Board of Appeals, Elections, Ethics, Planning Commission, and Economic Development Commission.

We’re seeking volunteers passionate about their community who will dedicate some time to effect positive change. These boards are an integral part of the City government.

If you or someone you know is interested in filling out an application, please email Monica Correll, city clerk, at MCorrell@Aberdeenmd.gov or Phyllis Grover, director of planning and community development, at PGrover@Aberdeenmd.gov.

Thank you in advance for helping find interested volunteers to continue to make Aberdeen a great place to live, work, and play.
