Aberdeen officer finds fawn sleeping next to patrol car, Bambi photo goes viral

An Aberdeen Police Officer found a pleasant surprise curled up next to the front wheel of his patrol car Sunday.

Officer Jason Neidig snapped a photo of a baby deer, peacefully sleeping on a sunny sidewalk next to the car's passenger side.

Aberdeen Police Department tweeted the photo Monday, writing: "Look at what one of our officers found next to his patrol car yesterday."

According to the department's Facebook page, the fawn was left alone and was gone the next morning.
