Two people were forced to disrobe and were robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday in Aberdeen, city police reported.
The two victims were walking in the 600 block of Edmund Street near the Highway Holiness Church before 1:30 a.m. when they were approached by two people dressed in black who displayed guns, according to an Aberdeen Police Department news release.
The assailants made the victims disrobe and removed personal items from their clothing before running down Edmund Street.
The victims went to the 800 block of Avon Drive, where they called police. Officers searched the area but found nothing.
The incident is being investigated by the APD's Criminal Investigation Division.
