Muslims of America and other nations have been helpful in defeating terrorism in the past.

We appreciate you for sending a letter to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requesting detailed information about President Trump's "Foreign Terrorist" Executive Order. Your concerns set forth in the letter regarding the confusion, disappointment and fear that this Order has generated amongst residents of the State of Maryland were well founded. This Executive Order has directly impacted the constitutional rights and civil liberties of the people living in the state of Maryland.

This Executive Order discriminates against people based on their religion and the national origin.

This Executive Order violates American values and the constitution of the United States of America.

This Executive Order will have a negative effect on our state's educational institutions, businesses and thus our economy.

We humbly request you to challenge this Executive Order in the court of law like the lawsuits filed by the states of Washington and Massachusetts.
