Police are investigating a suspicious death of a Jarrettsville couple who were found dead inside their home Saturday morning.
Harford County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Sunday that a family member found a 76-year-old Jarrettsville woman and her 75-year-old husband dead in their home in the 3600 block of Duxbury Court.
Police said they were called around 10 a.m. and found the couple dead in separate rooms and both had an apparent gunshot wound. They were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The names of the couple were not released.
The deaths are being investigated and the medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death and manner, police said.
Police described it as an “isolated incident” and said there is no threat to the community.
