Victim stabbed in robbery at hotel in Havre de Grace Tuesday morning

A person staying at the Super 8 Hotel on Pulaski Highway in Havre de Grace was stabbed multiple times early Tuesday morning, according to a news release from the Havre de Grace Police Department.

Havre de Grace officers responded to the hotel around 3 a.m. for a report of assault and battery and found the victim upon arrival. According to the victim, they heard a knock on the door of their hotel room. They looked through the peephole and, when they saw it was someone they knew, opened the door, police said.

Two suspects forced themselves into the room and stole personal property belonging to the victim. The victim was stabbed multiple times during the incident, causing injuries to head and body.

The victim was transported to a regional trauma center for “what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries,” according to the release.

One suspect was identified, located and arrested, but investigators are still trying to identify and locate the second suspect.
